- 3Right-sized compute and storage, then moved stateless workloads to spot and Graviton.
- 4Purchased Savings Plans and Reserved capacity matched to steady-state usage.
- 5Added budget alerts and policy-as-code guardrails to prevent expensive mistakes.
The outcome
Monthly cloud spend fell 38% within the first cycle while reliability was untouched. Teams now see their own costs and the guardrails keep spend aligned to value.
